Hapcheon-gun Hosts Event to Promote Hometown Love Donation Program

‘One More Desired Product’ Given to the First 120 People

Hapcheon-gun, Gyeongnam announced on the 28th that it will hold the ‘Year-end Hometown Love Donation Event’ from December 1 to 31 to promote the Hometown Love Donation Program.

This event allows participants to donate 100,000 KRW or more to Hapcheon-gun through online (Hometown Love e-um) or offline (Nonghyup) channels, order a thank-you gift, and automatically enter the event by filling out a Naver form. The first 120 donors will receive an additional thank-you gift worth up to 30,000 KRW of their choice.

The Naver form can be completed via the QR code or link provided on the county website banner and the Hometown Love e-um system (local events).

Lee Dong-ryul, Director of Planning and Budget, said, “We have prepared a generous event for donors to celebrate the year-end. We ask for your interest and participation in this event where you can receive benefits worth 160,000 KRW for a 100,000 KRW donation.”

Meanwhile, the Hometown Love Donation Program allows individuals to donate up to 5 million KRW annually to local governments other than their place of residence and receive tax deductions along with thank-you gifts worth up to 30% (local specialties and Hapcheon Love gift certificates). Donations up to 100,000 KRW are fully tax-deductible, and amounts exceeding 100,000 KRW receive a 16.5% tax deduction.

In particular, Hapcheon-gun grants donors the qualification to receive the , which offers discounts or free admission and usage fees for county facilities, allowing donors to enjoy the same benefits as residents.
