Dong-Eui University University Job Plus Center Hosts Employment and Career Club Festival

3 Teams Selected, 5 Teams Awarded Grand Prize, Total Outstanding Clubs Receive President's Award

The Dong-Eui University Career Plus Center held the '2024 Academic Year Department Career and Employment Club Festival' in the lobby of Jicheon Hall on November 26.

This event was organized to support students' career planning and employment preparation, with 19 outstanding clubs selected from over 100 department career and employment clubs participating to share their achievements and know-how.


The festival featured exhibitions of activities along with presentations of achievements. Through the presentations, three teams were awarded the grand prize: the Early Childhood Education Department employment club 'Harang,' the Architectural Engineering Department employment club 'Architectural Facilities BIM,' and the Korean Language and Literature Department career club 'Carpe Diem.' Additionally, five teams received the Excellence Award, five teams the Merit Award, and six teams the Encouragement Award, all receiving the President's Award.


No Hyun-geun, a senior in the Architectural Engineering Department and representative of 'Architectural Facilities BIM,' said, "I am very pleased that a year's effort has led to such good results," adding, "We will continue various activities to strengthen job competencies applicable in the field."


Furthermore, related organizations such as the Career Plus Center and 'With Onna,' an operator of the National Employment Support System, participated in the event to provide students with career and employment counseling and guidance on national employment policies.


Lee Cheol-gyun, director of the Career Plus Center, stated, "I hope students have proactively developed their careers and found motivation for employment through their activities in career and employment clubs," and added, "We will continue to prepare various programs that can provide practical help for students' growth and employment."
