Jeju Special Self-Governing Province Development Corporation (President Baek Kyung-hoon) announced on the 27th that it will hold a business briefing session at the Jeju Workers' Comprehensive Welfare Center on the 28th to facilitate the smooth promotion of the 2025 existing housing purchase rental project and to encourage participation in the project.
The Jeju Special Self-Governing Province Development Corporation plans to purchase 300 houses next year, of which 90 will be completed-type by purchasing existing houses, and 210 will be contract-type (specialized type) by purchasing houses designed and constructed by private businesses to supply as public rental housing.
At this business briefing session, an overall introduction to the 2025 housing purchase plan and purchase methods (completed-type, contract-type, etc.) will be provided, along with an explanation of the contract-type purchase rental housing, which is scheduled to be expanded next year.
The briefing session will be divided into first and second rounds according to the target attendees. The first session, starting at 2 p.m., will provide explanations about completed-type and contract-type purchase rental housing to sellers such as construction companies. The second session, starting at 4 p.m., will be held for operating agencies (which comprehensively manage everything from tenant selection to social service provision using the purchase rental housing) regarding specialized purchase rental housing.
Baek Kyung-hoon, President of Jeju Special Self-Governing Province Development Corporation, emphasized, “I hope the business briefing session will be a valuable time to provide necessary information,” and added, “Jeju Development Corporation will continue to make sustained and multifaceted efforts to ensure the housing stability of the residents.”
