"Achieving the Highest Grade for 'Warm Win-Win Management' Two Years in a Row"
Yeosu Gwangyang Port Authority (President Park Seong-hyun, hereinafter referred to as the Authority) announced on the 27th that it received the Minister of Health and Welfare Award as an outstanding institution for social contribution activities at the '2024 Community Contribution Recognition Day' event held at the Seoul Dragon City Hotel.
The 'Community Contribution Recognition System' is a program jointly hosted by the Ministry of Health and Welfare and the Korea National Council on Social Welfare to discover and recognize companies and institutions that have formed partnerships with non-profit organizations and consistently carried out community contribution activities. The 'Community Contribution Recognition Day' event is held annually to encourage the achievements of these recognized companies.

The Authority has been selected as a recognized community contribution company for four consecutive years since its first certification in 2021. In particular, this year, it received the highest grade (Level 5) for the second consecutive year and was awarded the Minister of Health and Welfare Award in recognition of its active communication with the community and the successful implementation of various customized programs.
