Yangsan City Holds Meeting with 13 Employment-Related Agencies

The Yangsan Branch of the Ministry of Employment and Labor (Branch Chief Kwon Gu-hyung) held a 'Meeting of Employment-Related Agencies' at the branch convention room on the 27th.

The meeting was held to discuss strengthening collaboration and linkage among related agencies to expand youth employment in the region, as well as customized job policy measures considering the characteristics of Yangsan city and its industries.

Attendees included representatives from 13 major public and private employment-related agencies in Yangsan, such as Yangsan City, Gyeongnam Employers Federation, Yangsan Chamber of Commerce, Youngsan University, Youth Center Cheongdam, Yangsan Women's New Work Center, Yangsan Vocational School, and Doowon Job.

Through this meeting, it was decided to strengthen cooperation and linkage among various local institutions related to youth employment, provide education and training connected to local industries, and enhance youth job creation and employment service outcomes in the region.

Branch Chief Kwon Gu-hyung stated, “The Ministry of Employment and Labor Yangsan Branch will take the lead in strengthening collaboration among local agencies related to youth employment,” and added, “In addition to improving and expanding youth employment conditions, we will hold the ‘Yangsan City Youth Employment Forum’ at least once every quarter to provide customized job creation and employment services considering local characteristics and youth demand.”
