Graduates Encouraged to 'Leap'... "A New Story Begins"
The Department of Fine Arts at National Mokpo University announced on the 27th that it will hold a 10-day graduation exhibition titled ‘Period’ until the 6th of next month.
This exhibition carries the meaning of not only an ending but also a new beginning, symbolizing "putting a period and turning to the next page."

Marking its 43rd edition, this graduation exhibition consists of paintings and design works, showcasing the achievements of 22 graduating students. Over four years of painting and design classes, they have cultivated a convergent way of thinking and are now fully prepared to establish themselves as artists.
Song Ha-cheol, President of Mokpo University, said at the opening event held on the 26th at the Dorim Gallery in the Creative Hall, “I sincerely congratulate the 43rd graduation exhibition of the Department of Fine Arts and support the future of the graduating students.”
Jo Eun-jung, Head of the Department of Fine Arts, congratulated the graduates, saying, “They have now completed their education and reached the point to begin their professional careers.”
Kang Jong-gyun, the chairperson of the graduation preparation committee, pledged, “I will put a period here and start another story.”
‘Period’ is expected to support the next leap of the graduating students and present a new world of art to the audience.
