The Community Contribution Recognition System is a program that discovers and acknowledges companies and institutions that have consistently engaged in community contribution activities through partnerships with non-profit organizations. The evaluation is conducted based on 25 indicators across 7 areas related to ESG management, including environmental management, social responsibility management, and transparent management.

The Korea Student Aid Foundation promotes various social contribution activities targeting all generations within the community, including children, adolescents, and vulnerable groups. In particular, through employee volunteer groups (Smart Angels KOSAF), the Foundation Sharing Association, and employee participation programs such as delivering lunchboxes to children at risk of missing meals during school vacations, the foundation takes the lead in supporting vulnerable groups within the community.

Additionally, it strives for regional coexistence by conducting social contribution activities linked to traditional markets and cooperative projects with public institutions relocated to Daegu.

Bae Byeong-il, Chairman of the Korea Student Aid Foundation, said, “The efforts of the foundation’s employees for the community seem to have led to the selection as a recognized community contribution institution,” and added, “We will continue to strive to be an institution that takes the lead in social responsibility through various social contribution programs.”
