Dongducheon-si Completes Capacity Building Training for Lifelong Learning Stakeholders

Dongducheon City, Gyeonggi Province (Mayor Park Hyung-deok) announced on the 27th that it successfully conducted capacity-building training for lifelong learning stakeholders over two days from the 25th to the 26th at the Dongducheon Lifelong Learning Center.

This training was especially meaningful as it was conducted by Jeong Si-yeon, an expert lecturer from the Lifelong Learning Trends Research Institute.

On the first day, the 25th, a vision establishment workshop was held for lifelong learning clubs in their 1st to 2nd year. This workshop was designed to provide practical strategies and ideas to enhance the sustainability of learning clubs and resolve conflicts within the organization.

On the second day, the 26th, training was provided for lifelong learning managers to enhance their understanding of policies and practical skills.

The lifelong learning managers studied national lifelong learning policies and trends, and through program monitoring technique training, they strengthened their practical ability to analyze the effectiveness of learning projects and derive improvement measures.

One participant in the training shared, “I gained concrete ideas to solve problems I had been concerned about, and I was able to clarify the direction of my future activities more clearly.”

Dongducheon City plans to continue operating regular capacity-building training and various learning programs to strengthen the expertise of lifelong learning stakeholders and activate networks.
