Kkumssi Family Goods and Processed Foods Added
Daejeon City announced that it has additionally selected 18 new return gifts from 8 companies for the Hometown Love Donation Program.
On the 25th, the city held a "Hometown Love Donation Program Return Gift Selection Committee" meeting and made this decision. As a result, 123 return gifts will be provided by 49 suppliers next year.
The newly added return gifts include Kkumssi Family goods (such as dolls and body pillows), 12 types of processed foods, and 3 types of manufactured goods.
Jeon Jaehyun, Director of the Daejeon City Administration and Autonomy Bureau, said, "We will continue to make efforts to discover return gifts preferred by donors."
Meanwhile, the Hometown Love Donation Program is a system that allows individuals to donate up to 5 million KRW per year to local governments outside their place of residence. Donors can receive a full tax deduction for donations up to 100,000 KRW, and a 16.5% tax credit for amounts exceeding 100,000 KRW. In addition, they can receive local agricultural and specialty products as return gifts worth up to 30% of their donation amount.
