Former People Power Party Emergency Committee Chairman Kim Jong-in criticized the heated exchange between Representative Han Dong-hoon and Supreme Council Member Kim Min-jeon over the party member bulletin board controversy, saying, "It is fatal to the party when a Supreme Council member asks difficult questions to the representative and shows an unpleasant appearance," adding, "It looks pathetic."

On the 27th, Kim told CBS Radio's 'Kim Hyun-jung's News Show,' "First of all, it has been confirmed that Representative Han did not post on the bulletin board, and the issue concerning his family is a minor matter," adding, "We should just wait until the investigation concludes, but they are nitpicking and putting the representative in a difficult situation." He continued, "Senior members of the People Power Party must seriously consider and be cautious about how the current situation will affect the party's future," warning, "If the Han Dong-hoon system is shaken, the party will face a very difficult situation."

He also said, "In the past, I said that if former Representative Lee Jun-seok was ousted, the party's approval rating would drop by 10% and the general election would become very difficult," emphasizing, "Nevertheless, they forced (Lee's resignation), and didn't we suffer a crushing defeat in the April general election? After experiencing that, if they try again, they should know what the outcome will be." He added, "If they try again with the same style of ousting former Representative Lee, the People Power Party will face considerable difficulties in the future."

Kim also pointed out, "The other candidates desperately tried to shake Han Dong-hoon to prevent him from becoming the representative, but Han Dong-hoon won," noting, "Han Dong-hoon was elected as the representative with about 63% support, and everyone should think about what will happen to the People Power Party's position if such a person is shaken off."
