This training was organized to prepare for the review of the 2024 2nd regular session budget and ordinance proposals, and to enhance expertise by acquiring specialized knowledge necessary for legislative activities. The session was conducted with invited speakers Jeong Chang-su, Director of the Nara Salrim Research Institute, and Kim Yong-seok, Director of the Good Policy Research Institute at the Korea Institute of Industrial Technology.
The main content of the first day focused on budget review techniques training. The second day consisted of practical training on budget analysis, concentrating on strengthening practical capabilities for reviewing the 2025 main budget proposal.
Kim Seung-ho, Chairman of the Dongducheon City Council, stated, “This training was organized to thoroughly prepare for the 2024 2nd regular session. Since it is an important session for planning the city’s finances for the coming year, we will conduct in-depth deliberations and do our best to ensure that local finances are managed efficiently.”
