On the 26th, Dongduk Women's University announced that it plans to file a provisional injunction with the Seoul Northern District Court against the students occupying the main building, seeking eviction from the occupied space and prohibition of obstruction of business.
A university official stated, "All administrative work of the school is conducted in the main building, but with the building occupied, classes cannot resume and necessary administrative tasks have all come to a halt," adding, "Since business is being significantly disrupted and the school is in an urgent situation, we have decided to file the provisional injunction." The official also said, "The exact date of the application has not been decided yet, but it will be filed soon."
Earlier, the school and the student council held a third round of talks the previous day, but discussions were suspended without agreement due to continued disagreements over lifting the occupation of the main building. At that time, the school stated it would request the student side to submit an official letter regarding future meeting schedules, but no discussions have taken place so far.
