Jang Ye-chan, Regarding the 'Party Member Bulletin Board Controversy,' Tells Han Dong-hoon, "Rather Sue Me"

"The Responsibility Lies with Representative Han Who Created the Chaos"

Jang Ye-chan, former Supreme Youth Committee member of the People Power Party, said about Han Dong-hoon, the party leader of the People Power Party, and the so-called 'party member bulletin board controversy,' "The People Power Party has become a chaotic mess."

In an interview with CBS Radio's 'Park Jae-hong's One-on-One Match' on the 25th, former Supreme Committee member Jang said, "The responsibility for creating this chaos lies entirely with Leader Han, who cannot give a simple answer that 'it is not the family'."

He added, "Whether the family members wrote the posts or not is a very simple question. Leader Han, who has been unable to answer this for over three weeks, must take full responsibility for turning the People Power Party into a chaotic mess."

Former Supreme Committee member Jang also said, "If multiple posts defaming Leader Han under the names of President Yoon Seok-yeol's family members had been posted, would this have been overlooked? It would have caused an uproar," and added, "There would have been a request for a private meeting with the president."

He continued, "Every time posts are made under the names of Leader Han's family members on the (party member bulletin board), they appear at one-minute intervals," and pointed out, "This is public opinion manipulation. Even without using machines, posting or commenting under someone else's name is illegal and constitutes obstruction of business."

He further said, "Can five people with the exact same names as Leader Han's family?his father-in-law, mother-in-law, spouse, mother, and daughter?continuously post defamation against the president and praise Leader Han at one-minute intervals for two months straight?" and added, "Neither Leader Han nor his close associates have uttered a single word about this."

Moreover, he said, "Leader Han's family committed an act that anyone can clearly see as identity borrowing and public opinion manipulation, but because they are the leader's family, it is being overlooked. This is a case of 'Naeronambul' (double standards: 'If I do it, it's romance; if others do it, it's an affair')."

Former Supreme Committee member Jang challenged, "Sue me," and said, "If Leader Han sues me, the police will have no choice but to more thoroughly investigate the truth to clarify whether it was indeed Leader Han's family or not. I have revealed the real names of Leader Han's family members, their faces have been exposed in the media, so is it conceivable that the great Han Dong-hoon would just let this go without suing?"

Earlier, the party member bulletin board controversy arose as posts defaming President Yoon Seok-yeol and his wife were repeatedly posted under the names of Leader Han and his family. Posts written under Leader Han's name were claimed by his side to be by namesakes, but whether the family members actually wrote the posts has not been confirmed. In response, the pro-Yoon Seok-yeol faction pressured Leader Han to clarify whether his family members wrote the posts.

After the party's Supreme Committee meeting that day, Leader Han told reporters, "Demanding to reveal and root out who wrote the posts criticizing the president on the anonymous bulletin board is an idea that cannot be accepted in a liberal democratic party," and added, "This is an attempt to shake and remove the party leader."
