Operation of Mobile Reservation System Starting December 3

Geochang-gun, Gyeongnam Province will operate a mobile reservation system starting December 3 to enhance the convenience of users at the Geochang Changpowon Bicycle Rental Station.

The Geochang Changpowon Bicycle Rental Station has seen a steady increase in users, with about 24,000 visitors in 2023 and approximately 32,000 visitors as of November 2024.

Until now, on weekends and holidays when many visitors came, there was the inconvenience of having to wait in long lines to rent bicycles. However, with the newly introduced mobile reservation system, visitors will be able to conveniently use bicycles through remote waiting.

The usage method is simple. After arriving at Geochang Changpowon, visitors can access the reservation system on their mobile phones via the QR code reservation guide banner and reserve the desired bicycle. After receiving a rental call message, they can visit the bicycle rental station and pick up the reserved bicycle.

Additionally, Geochang-gun purchased 36 single and two-seater couple bicycles for the Geochang Changpowon Bicycle Rental Station in May 2024, and plans to add 10 four-seater bicycles, which have been in high demand, during December.

Governor Gu In-mo said, “With the introduction of the mobile reservation system, I hope visitors to Geochang Changpowon will experience a convenient and enjoyable bicycle rental environment,” and added, “We will continue to strive to provide services that prioritize the convenience of users.”
