"We hope for criminal punishment commensurate with the crime"

On the 26th, Min's side stated, "Yesterday (the 25th), we filed a complaint with Yongsan Police Station against HYBE's Chief Communications Officer (CCO) Park Tae-hee and Public Relations Director Jo for breach of trust in the course of business."

Min's side explained, "They belong to HYBE's shared service PR organization and are in a position to promote NewJeans while receiving commissions from Adore. However, instead of fulfilling their duties, they caused serious damage to Adore and NewJeans by downplaying their achievements."

They added, "We hope that criminal punishment corresponding to their crimes will be imposed."

Previously, Min claimed that HYBE did not properly promote NewJeans from their debut. On September 25, a journalist from a daily newspaper who appeared on CBS's 'Kim Hyun-jung's News Show' released a recorded conversation with Public Relations Director Jo, stating that "(NewJeans) are not doing as well as expected in Japan," which sparked controversy.

Min, who resigned from the position of internal director at Adore and left HYBE on the 20th, announced, "I intend to terminate the shareholder agreement with HYBE and hold HYBE legally responsible for violations of the shareholder agreement."

He first filed a complaint with Yongsan Police Station against related parties, starting with Kim Tae-ho, CEO of Belieflab, the agency of Aileit, along with Vice President Choi Yoon-hyuk, Visual Director Heo, and Head of Operations Lee, on charges including defamation under the Information and Communications Network Act. Additionally, he is continuing legal battles by filing a damages lawsuit worth 5 billion KRW against Belieflab.
