Naver Plus Membership Members Now Eligible to Use Netflix Ad-Supported Plan

Membership Members Can Use Without Additional Charges

Starting today (the 26th), Naver Plus Membership users can access Netflix services.

Netflix announced on the 26th that "through collaboration with Naver, Naver Plus Membership members can enjoy the same benefits as the Netflix ad-supported Standard plan without any additional cost."

The Netflix ad-supported Standard plan offers 1080p (Full HD) quality, simultaneous access for 2 devices, unlimited mobile gaming, and content downloads, all available with some ads. Users can also upgrade to various higher-tier Netflix plans.

Netflix is preparing to release new content in various genres this month, including the mystery romance series "Trunk" starring Seo Hyun-jin and Gong Yoo, and next year, "Solo’s Inferno" Season 4. It is also set to release Season 2 of the popular series "Squid Game."

Netflix provides entertainment experiences not only through movies and series but also through mobile games and sports broadcasts. Recently, it has expanded live broadcasts such as professional boxing, strengthening its live content library.

Meanwhile, Netflix reported that it added approximately 5.07 million subscribers worldwide in the third quarter of this year. The ad-supported plan saw a 35% increase compared to the previous quarter. Currently, the global monthly active users of Netflix’s ad-supported membership reach 70 million.
