Goseong-gun, Gyeongnam Province participated in the 14th Busan Organic, Eco-friendly, Returning to Farming and Returning to Rural Areas Expo held at BEXCO in Busan from the 21st to the 24th, promoting various support policies for returning to farming and rural areas.

The 14th Busan Organic, Eco-friendly, Returning to Farming and Returning to Rural Areas Expo, hosted by Messe Korea and involving related institutions, companies, and organizations nationwide, is a large-scale event featuring local government promotional booths and seminars on returning to farming and rural areas, attracting many visitors to the venue.

Goseong-gun, which participates in the expo every year, promoted various projects such as counseling on returning to farming and rural areas, operation of returning farmers' houses, and leased farms for practical management to support the stable settlement of urban residents. In addition, through the operation of the Eco-friendly Agriculture and Dinosaur Country Shopping Mall booths, they exhibited and sold agricultural specialties, actively promoting Goseong, Gyeongnam, and its excellence as an ideal place for returning to farming.

Among the tenants of the Dinosaur Country Shopping Mall who participated in the event, the representative of Dinosaur Purple Sweet Potato is a returning farmer who moved from Busan to Goseong. He said, “Participating in the returning to farming and rural areas expo held in my birthplace, Busan, gave me a fresh feeling as it was an opportunity to promote Goseong, which has become my second hometown, and to show the possibilities to prospective returning farmers and rural residents.”
