Junggi Joonganghoe and Shinyong Bojeunggigeum Join Hands to Strengthen Competitiveness of SMEs and Small Business Owners Based on Data

Utilizing New Product Holding SME Data
Central Association Discovers Timely and Appropriate Policies

The Korea Federation of SMEs announced on the 26th that it has signed a "Business Agreement to Support the Strengthening of SME Competitiveness Based on Data" with the Korea Credit Guarantee Fund. This agreement was established to enable the Federation to take the lead in discovering appropriate policies and operating support projects by utilizing high-quality SME data held by the Credit Guarantee Fund.


The Credit Guarantee Fund will provide the Federation with corporate information, financial, evaluation, and analysis data related to SMEs and small business owners by utilizing the intelligent enterprise diagnosis (BASA) platform established in 2022. The Federation will use this information to enhance the field performance of SME policies and the efficiency of support project operations. It also plans to actively cooperate to encourage more companies to use the BASA platform.

Kim Ki-moon, Chairman of the Korea Federation of SMEs, stated, “The Korea Federation of SMEs represents 8.04 million SMEs and small business owners and serves as a bridge connecting the government and the industrial field. It is essential to understand both individual businesses and the entire industry.” He added, “Through this agreement, we will strive to fulfill our role and responsibility as the leading economic organization to strengthen the competitiveness of SMEs and small business owners by utilizing the high-quality SME information held by the Korea Credit Guarantee Fund.”


Chairman Kim further added, “We will continue to seek new and efficient SME support measures using data through close cooperation between the two organizations.”
