A parody video featuring Donald Trump, the President-elect of the United States, singing "Apartment (APT.)", a song originally performed by girl group BLACKPINK's Ros? and American pop star Bruno Mars, has become a hot topic. The YouTuber mainly posts videos that cover songs by stitching together clips of American politicians giving speeches. This is notable because it was not created by training artificial intelligence (AI) on Trump’s voice, but by carefully editing his speeches one by one. In this video, Trump clearly pronounces "Apartment Apartment" and covers all parts originally sung by Ros? and Bruno Mars. The video sparked interest on social networking services (SNS), garnering 330,000 views.

In the video comments, international netizens responded with remarks such as "It’s so perfect that I added it to my playlist," "Please make other K-pop covers of Trump," and "APT stands for 'American President Trump.'"

Previously, the YouTube channel "Jeffp" uploaded a video of actor Hwang Jung-min covering "Apartment," which also became a big hit. This channel mainly creates songs by piecing together lines spoken by Hwang Jung-min in movies. Positive reactions poured in, saying it "shines even more in the AI era," and the video surpassed 5.5 million views within a month of being posted.

Meanwhile, as "Apartment" gained popularity, an unexpected cover also appeared. Last month, YouTuber "Hwaseongin Rildoji" posted an AI video of North Korean Supreme Leader Kim Jong-un and Workers' Party Vice Director Kim Yo-jong singing a duet of "Apartment." In this video, the chorus "Apartment" was changed to "Rocket," and the lyrics were rewritten with lines like "surprise deployment, surprise deployment, bombardment at the forefront," and "I will spread the power struggle down there," which brought laughter.
