The completion ceremony for the ‘Yeongho-nam Happy Together House No. 4,’ a joint project by Gyeongbuk Development Corporation and Jeonnam Development Corporation, was held on the 21st in Goseo-myeon, Damyang-gun, Jeollanam-do.
On this day, employees from Gyeongbuk and Jeonnam Development Corporations visited the Goseo-myeon area in Damyang-gun, Jeollanam-do, and carried out various volunteer activities including briquette sharing for vulnerable groups burdened by heating costs during the winter season, providing safety first-aid kits useful in daily life, and supporting housing facility repairs. Despite the chilly weather, employees from both companies worked hard volunteering by painting exterior walls, cleaning up construction waste, and carrying briquettes, shedding valuable sweat.

On the same day, Lee Jae-hyeok, president of Gyeongbuk Development Corporation, and Jang Chung-mo, president of Jeonnam Development Corporation, delivered construction cost support funds amounting to 26 million KRW and stated that they will continue to sustain and expand joint social contribution projects for Yeongho-nam mutual growth.
‘Yeongho-nam Happy Together House’ is a project initiated under a business agreement between Gyeongbuk and Jeonnam Development Corporations to promote ‘Yeongho-nam mutual cooperation, return of regional management profits to the community, and establishment of a sustainable cooperative system between the two companies.’ It is a representative joint social contribution activity started by both corporations in 2023, utilizing their core business to discover social contribution projects.
Lee Jae-hyeok, president of Gyeongbuk Development Corporation, said, “Following the completion of the ‘Yeongho-nam Happy Together House’ No. 3 in Yecheon, Gyeongbuk, in the first half of the year, it is meaningful to complete the No. 4 house in Damyang-gun, Jeonnam, in the second half. We will continue to cooperate as leading public enterprises for regional mutual development and promote various social contribution activities.”
