MOU with Pohang Accelerator Laboratory

Joint Research Utilizing Dedicated Beamline

Busan National University Industry-University Cooperation Foundation (Director Kang Jeong-eun) and the Center for Ultra-Fast X-ray Science at Gwangju Institute of Science and Technology (C-AXS) signed a memorandum of understanding at the storage ring building of the Pohang Accelerator Laboratory to enhance competitiveness through technology and personnel exchange and to establish an organic cooperation system.

Through the agreement held on the 21st, Busan National University and C-AXS agreed to promote the development of future science and technology, including advanced X-ray science and technology, through regular technology exchanges and to cooperate in revitalizing exchanges of professional personnel, technical information, and academic information.

The two institutions plan to exchange new knowledge and technical information related to research and development based on mutual technology and personnel, and especially to conduct collaborative research in areas of joint interest, including the operation of the Pohang Accelerator Laboratory’s dedicated beamline for Gwangju Institute of Science and Technology.
