The reading club meeting space support project aims to revitalize the local economy by utilizing idle spaces and private facilities in the area as reading meeting places, and to improve residents' accessibility to reading clubs. A total of 23 private facilities, including Gonggan Nemo, are participating in the project.

At six locations including Osaek Picture Bookstore, Koje Tea House, Cafe Donghwa, Cafe Banwol, Gonggan Nemo, and Seondan Forest Cafe, various humanities and cultural programs such as meetings with authors, concerts featuring books and music, and poetry recitations are being operated.

On December 5th, Osaek Picture Bookstore will host a meeting with author Jo Mi-ja, who wrote "Anxiety" and "Sometimes I," and on December 11th, Koje Tea House will hold the "Osaka Tea Room" program where participants can experience Japanese tea culture.

Additionally, on December 12th, Cafe Donghwa is scheduled to host a meeting with author Kim Seol, who wrote "My First Reading Club," and on December 13th, Cafe Banwol will feature a lecture titled "Reading Together That Saved Me" by Kim Sae-seom, CEO of the knowledge community Geumeum.

Furthermore, on December 16th, Gonggan Nemo will hold a "Night of Poetry Reading" event where participants can share and connect through reciting their own poems and favorite poems. On December 17th and 20th, Ildong Library and Seondan Forest Cafe will host the program "A Time to Encounter the Self Within," featuring musical performances related to the works of Franz Kafka.

Any citizen interested in reading clubs can participate free of charge, and applications can be made through the Myeonam Central Library website. For more details, inquiries can be directed to the Library Policy Division.

A library official stated, "We plan to continuously prepare various reading culture events so that residents can communicate and grow through books," adding, "We will continue to strive to establish Pocheon City as a humanities city that grows together with books."
