Kyobo Life Insurance announced on the 25th that it held a "Visiting Concert" with the KBS Symphony Orchestra at the Gangnam Kyobo Tower and Gwanghwamun headquarters on the 21st and 22nd, targeting 400 pregnant women and their families in the Seoul area.
This concert focused on practicing the life-respecting spirit, which is the essence of the life insurance industry, through classical music performances for prenatal education and providing Smile Bibs along with emergency treatment training to prevent infant airway obstruction.
The performance, conducted by conductor Im Dong-guk and baritone Park Hyun-seok, offered the audience emotional stability and healing time with various classical music pieces suitable for prenatal education, including masterpieces by Mozart and Tchaikovsky as well as movie OSTs.

At this concert, the Smile Bib, created to prevent infant safety accidents, was provided to attendees, drawing attention. The Smile Bib is an innovative product designed to assist emergency treatment for infant airway obstruction. It is designed to indicate the exact chest compression area in emergencies so that anyone can easily perform emergency treatment. Along with distributing the bibs, an emergency treatment training video was also screened during the performance, receiving great responses from the audience.
Since last year, Kyobo Life Insurance has been continuously conducting a life-respecting campaign centered on distributing Smile Bibs and providing emergency treatment education. Although infant airway obstruction accidents occur every year, it is difficult to know the exact chest compression location and method due to infants' small bodies, and this campaign is the result of collaborative efforts to solve this problem.
Last year, on the occasion of Pregnant Women’s Day, Smile Bibs were delivered to 1,000 pregnant women and prospective parents visiting the Seongbuk-gu and Gangseo-gu public health centers. This year, an additional 1,100 bibs will be delivered to the Guro-gu and Yeongdeungpo-gu public health centers.
Kyobo Life Insurance’s activities contribute to preventing infant safety accidents and are closely related to practicing the management philosophy of respecting life. Since 2008, Kyobo Life Insurance has maintained the Family-Friendly Certification, awarded by the Ministry of Gender Equality and Family to companies leading the creation of family-friendly cultures such as support for pregnancy, childbirth, child-rearing, and flexible work. It is recognized as a representative company practicing family love. Through various social contribution activities such as the "Dream Goblin" support project for the growth of protected children and the Wow Dasom Sound and Light support project, the company actively fulfills its corporate social responsibility.
A Kyobo Life Insurance official stated, “It is meaningful to be able to practice the life-respecting spirit, the essence of the life insurance industry, through this visiting concert, Smile Bib production, and emergency treatment education,” and added, “We will continue to do our best to promote activities for infant safety and spread the value of respecting life.”
