Image Generation Feature 'AI Drawing' Added

SK Broadband announced on the 25th that it has added an image generation feature called 'AI Drawing' to the 'Living English' service of B tv ZEM, which allows users to have conversations in English with a generative AI character.

Living English is a B tv ZEM service that enables free English speaking practice at home. It offers step-by-step learning through a curriculum designed from Level 1 to Level 4 with AI native speaker characters.

Since SK Broadband launched 'Living English Free Talking,' which applied ChatGPT 3.5 to Living English in November last year, the number of users of Living English has increased by 2.1 times, and the number of uses has increased by 1.7 times. In Free Talking, children can improve their English skills independently through free English conversations.

After confirming customer responses to AI educational content, SK Broadband collaborated with the edutech company 'Akipin' to introduce the AI Drawing feature, which uses generative AI to create images based on English utterances.

AI Drawing is structured according to the learner's level. Lower-level learners can generate images by reading given sentences aloud. The provided sentences change each time, and learners can follow kid-customized sentences made with essential elementary English words to learn vocabulary through AI Drawing.

Higher-level learners can practice free word usage and sentence structures. When they say a word or sentence describing a picture they want to draw on one of over 50 backgrounds, the generative AI character Zeppelin draws an image that fits the background.

Meanwhile, SK Broadband also enhanced the Korean-English mixed voice recognition engine in this update. Even if users say unknown words or sentences in Korean instead of English, the AI will provide the English equivalent.
