Kojima, Dongbanwi Receive Second Certification as 'ESG Excellent Small and Medium Enterprises'

High Evaluation for Expanding Eco-Friendly Product and Service Development

Kojima announced on the 25th that it has been reselected as an ‘Excellent ESG (Environment, Social, Governance) Small and Medium Enterprise’ by the Win-Win Growth Committee.

The Win-Win Growth Committee is conducting the ‘Partner Company ESG Support’ project to strengthen ESG response capabilities across supply chains between large corporations and SMEs. The project involves multifaceted ESG education, capability diagnosis, and on-site inspections for partner SMEs of participating companies.

Kojima, as a partner company of Lotte Hi-Mart, first joined this project in 2022 and was selected as an excellent ESG company. Since then, it has recorded a high compliance rate of over 90% in implementation assessments, earning its second certification this year.

In particular, Kojima received high evaluations for ‘expanding the development of eco-friendly products and services,’ ‘complying with environmental management policies through employees’ environmental protection practices,’ ‘strengthening employee safety management training,’ and ‘establishing an ethical management system.’
