Actor Jung Woo-sung has been confirmed as the biological father of the son recently born to model Moon Ga-bi.

Jung's agency, Artist Company, stated on the 24th, "The child revealed by Moon Ga-bi on social media (SNS) is indeed Jung Woo-sung's biological child." They added, "We are discussing the best approach to parenting," and "(Jung Woo-sung) will take full responsibility for the child." They declined to comment on personal matters such as the timing of the child's birth, whether Moon and Jung are dating, or any marriage plans.

On the same day, entertainment media Dispatch reported that Jung is the biological father of Moon's son. According to the report, the two first met at a gathering in 2022 and have been close since. They are not officially dating and have no plans to marry.

Moon became known through beauty variety shows such as "Get It Beauty." After a period of inactivity in the entertainment industry, she announced the birth of her son on Instagram on the 22nd. However, she did not mention marriage or the child's father.

In her post, Moon said, "The news came so suddenly that I was not prepared at all, so rather than fully enjoying the joy or congratulations of pregnancy, I spent most of my pregnancy quietly with the blessings of my family." She added, "The only reason I chose to do so was for the child to be born."

She continued, "Although I am still an unprepared mother facing the child who has come into the world, regardless of my shortcomings, just by the child's very existence, my heart is filled with love. Seeing this, I have resolved to become a healthy mother filled with love and happiness rather than perfection."
