On January 1, 2025, ten Grade 3 directors (Deputy Directors) will be appointed in Seoul City.
Seoul City announced the '2025 First Half Grade 3 Promotion Plan' on the afternoon of the 22nd.
The reason for having ten Grade 3 promotions this time is the expected resignation of key Grade 1 officials, including the Administrative Deputy Mayor.
Accordingly, along with this Grade 3 promotion, Grade 2 and Grade 1 promotions are also expected to follow in succession.
The candidates for administrative positions include Kim Gyuryong, Media Officer; Kim Hongchan, Public Relations Officer; Park Juseon, Audit Officer; Kim Hyungrae, Planning Officer; Moon Hyuk, Budget Officer; Lee Seongeun, Low Birthrate Officer; Lee Byeongcheol, Head of Economic Policy Division; Go Gwanghyeon, Head of Welfare Policy Division; Lee Jingu, Head of Transportation Policy Division; Park Sookhee, Head of Climate and Environmental Policy Division; Kim Gyuri, Head of Cultural Policy Division; Oh Gyeonghee, Head of Education Support Policy Division; Kim Insuk, Head of Digital Policy Division; Jo Seongho, Head of General Affairs Division; Kim Gwangdeok, Head of Personnel Division; Kim Hyeonjung, Head of Disaster Safety Policy Division; Kang Namtae, Head of Disaster Safety Prevention Division; and Noh Suim, Head of Design Policy Division.
The technical candidates include Lee Donghun, Head of Provincial Civil Engineering Department, and Oh Daejung, Head of Road Planning Division.
Seoul City plans to hold a personnel committee meeting on December 2 after requiring submission of work performance reports by the 25th.
A Seoul City official said, "We have high expectations as there are as many as ten Grade 3 promotions this time."
