Gyeongnam Information University (President Kim Tae-sang) held a completion ceremony for the lifelong education program ‘2nd 50+ Life Redesign University’ in collaboration with Busan City.
The ‘50+ Life Redesign University’ is a customized education project created by Busan City to support career development and enhance retirement preparation capabilities for the new middle-aged generation aged 50 and over who are experiencing life transitions such as retirement.
Gyeongnam Information University operated the ‘Well-being Brunch Specialist Training Course for Restart’ under the 50+ Life Redesign University project and graduated a total of 48 students.
The curriculum consisted of a systematic 100-hour program including life redesign education, well-being brunch education, club activities, and employment/startup education. Even after completion, participants receive continuous guidance through a lifelong mentoring system.
At the completion ceremony, the university’s Vice President Park Yang-su also gave a special lecture on life planning for the changing lives of the new middle-aged generation after retirement, titled ‘What Are the Ways to Play and Rest That Suit Me?’
Jung Yoo-ji, Director of the Lifelong Education Center at the university, said, “We will do our best to help the new middle-aged generation continuously develop themselves and take on new challenges as they face life transitions.”
