This kimchi donation event is part of Samsung Middle School's community contribution activities, designed to help students learn the importance of agriculture and the value of sharing.

On that day, the students made kimchi using napa cabbages carefully cultivated in the school's Happy Garden, and delivered 40 boxes of kimchi, each packed in 5kg portions, to the local community.

Samsung Middle School plans to continue raising awareness of the importance of ecological education through the Happy Garden program and to carry out various activities in cooperation with the local community.

Student Council President Hwang Da-yeon said, “I feel proud to make kimchi with cabbages we grew ourselves and share it with our neighbors,” adding, “We will continue activities for the local community.”

Sinbuk-myeon Chief Shin Mi-sook said, “The kimchi made by the students is a precious gift filled with warm hearts,” and expressed gratitude to the students and staff of Samsung Middle School for putting their hearts into helping neighbors.
