Promotion of Hometown Love Donation System and Support for Agricultural Specialty Product Sales

On the 22nd, Damyang-gun, Jeollanam-do announced that on the 21st, it signed a business agreement for mutual cooperation with the Gwangju Government Complex Management Office at the Soswaewon Room in the county office.


This business agreement was promoted to revitalize the local economy and achieve mutual development by establishing a win-win system through the utilization of each other's resources between Damyang-gun and nearby institutions.


The main contents of the agreement include spreading the donation culture through the promotion of the 'Hometown Love Donation System,' increasing farmers' income and enhancing the value of the local brand through 'support for the promotion of local agricultural specialties,' and jointly hosting exchange events for new and young public officials.


According to the agreement, both institutions will cooperate to raise awareness and interest in the region and the donation culture by providing information to encourage participation in the Hometown Love Donation and supporting the Hometown Love Donation System campaign.


In addition, the 'Friday Market' within the Gwangju Joint Government Complex will be operated regularly to support the promotion of seasonal agricultural specialties produced in Damyang. Through this, employees and visitors to the government complex can conveniently purchase fresh local agricultural products, and Damyang-gun is expected to increase farmers' income as well as the brand awareness of Damyang-gun's agricultural specialties.


Both institutions also plan to jointly hold workshops and cultural events for new and young public officials to strengthen employee capabilities and to continuously form a human network through mutual exchange and communication between the institutions.


Ko Eung-seok, head of the Gwangju Government Complex Management Office, said, "This business agreement will serve as an opportunity to promote mutual understanding and cooperation between central government ministries and local governments and to expand exchanges among the younger generation," adding, "We will continue to discover various cooperative projects for mutual development."


Lee Byung-no, the county governor, emphasized, "The signing of this business agreement will help revitalize the local economy, increase the resident population, and enhance the brand value of Damyang," and added, "We will continue sustainable cooperation for mutual growth."
