On the 21st (local time), at the RSM Classic (total prize money $7.6 million) held at the Sea Island Golf Club Plantation Course (par 72, 7,060 yards) in St. Simons Island, Georgia, USA, he shot 3 under par in the first round. Currently ranked 101st in the FedEx Cup standings, Lee Kyoung-hoon needs to improve his ranking as much as possible to have opportunities to participate in more tournaments and higher prize money events next year.

In this tournament, the first and second rounds are alternated between the Plantation Course and the Seaside Course (par 70, 7,005 yards).
