Heating Appliances and Warmwear Clothing Sales Increase Double Digits Compared to Previous Month
Emart announced on the 22nd that it will hold a heating and cold-weather products discount event until the 28th, offering up to 30% off on heating appliances such as heaters, electric blankets, and hot water mats, as well as innerwear and winter clothing.

Additionally, the 'Purender Carbon Heating Wire Electric Blanket (Single·Double)' is offered at 59,900 KRW and 64,900 KRW, each discounted by 10,000 KRW. The 'Kyungdong Navien Deep Sleep Hot Water Mat (Single·Queen)' can be purchased at 298,000 KRW for the single size and 318,000 KRW for the queen size, each discounted by 100,000 KRW. With recent subzero temperatures, demand for heating and cold-weather products has increased. From the 17th to the 20th, Emart's winter heating appliance sales grew by 46% compared to the same days last month (October 20?23). Heater sales increased by 140%, electric blanket sales by 16%, electric mat sales by 35%, and winter season accessories such as heating devices and warm packs rose by 38%.
Sales of warmwear such as innerwear and tights increased by 63%, and sales of seasonal repair products like draft stoppers, insulation sheets, and bubble wrap, which are cost-effective cold-weather items amid high inflation, surged by 230%.
Jung Chan-ho, Emart's home appliance buyer, said, "After a period of warmer-than-average weather, the sudden cold snap has significantly increased customer demand for winter heating appliances. We planned this discount event so that customers preparing for winter can purchase heating and cold-weather products at reasonable prices."
