Hanam City, Gyeonggi Province (Mayor Lee Hyun-jae) announced on the 21st that it conducted a campaign to eradicate illegal filming at Hanam City Hall Station and Misa Station on the 14th and 20th.

The purpose of this campaign is to ensure that all citizens can live in an environment free from violence, emphasizing the public responsibility for violence prevention through community participation and seeking solutions together with the local community.
More than 50 participants took part in the campaign, including the Child and Women Safety Area Coalition, Hanam Sexual Violence Counseling Center, Hanam Domestic Violence Counseling Center, Hanam Police Station, and the Illegal Filming Citizen Surveillance Group.
The participants distributed promotional materials to citizens, conveyed messages to eradicate illegal filming and violence against women, and emphasized the importance of crime prevention in daily life.
In particular, during the campaign held at Misa Station on the 20th, four police officers from Hanam Police Station joined, strengthening practical cooperation and enhancing the promotional effect.
A Hanam City official stated, “Illegal filming is a serious crime that threatens the safety and trust of citizens, and community cooperation is more important than anything else to eradicate it. We will continue to create a safe Hanam City through various promotional and preventive activities.”
