Online Startup Course for Middle-aged Adults... 16 Graduates
On the 19th, Yangsan City in Gyeongnam held a graduation ceremony for the "New Middle-aged Life Second Act School" in Seminar Room 1 on the 4th floor of the Yangsan Business Center.
The New Middle-aged Life Second Act School, conducted in the seminar room and informatization training center of the Yangsan Business Center, was held from October 8 to November 19 (twice a week, 3 hours each session). It targeted middle-aged residents of Yangsan interested in opening and operating online stores, consisting of three special lectures on life planning and eight lectures on opening a Naver Smart Store. Additionally, the program included a post-connection CORN project in collaboration with G-Space@East.
The graduation ceremony took place after the final lecture of the 12-session New Middle-aged Life Second Act School, which was about medicines and foods that extend healthy lifespan, followed by the distribution of certificates to the trainees and a survey.
A trainee who attended the ceremony said, "Having retired at 61 and started a business, attending education on unfamiliar areas such as smart stores and tax-related matters gave me an opportunity to reconsider my future direction. It helped me organize the direction for change and plan my goals, which was very helpful."
A Yangsan City official stated, "We will actively support the new middle-aged generation to continue their activities in line with new environments and changes by cooperating with the local community."
