Five Companies Including KG Steel to Supply 102 Tons Annually Every Two Months

On the 20th, Dangjin City in South Chungcheong Province signed a business agreement at City Hall with KG Steel and four other affiliated companies to use Dangjin Haenaru Rice for employee welfare rice supplies.
The signing ceremony was attended by Mayor Oh Seonghwan of Dangjin, Kwak Junghyun, CEO of KG Chemical, Park Seonghee, CEO of KG Steel, and Park Seungseok, CEO of Dangjin Haenaru Rice Cooperative Business Corporation.
With this agreement, Dangjin City plans to spare no administrative and financial support to promote the consumption of local agricultural products.
In addition, KG Steel will strive to use local agricultural specialties when using Haenaru Rice and food materials, and the Dangjin Haenaru Rice Cooperative Business Corporation will make efforts to ensure a stable supply of Haenaru Rice to KG Steel and to actively use fertilizers produced by KG Chemical, the parent group of KG Steel.
Mayor Oh Seonghwan said, "I would like to express my gratitude to Kwak Junghyun, CEO of KG Chemical, Park Seonghee, CEO of KG Steel, and Park Seungseok, CEO of Dangjin Haenaru Rice Cooperative Business Corporation, for their cooperation in making this win-win agreement possible."
He added, "Dangjin City, KG Chemical, KG Steel, and Dangjin Haenaru Rice Cooperative Business Corporation will do their best to maintain a mutually beneficial relationship," and "Dangjin City will actively cooperate to produce high-quality rice and promote the consumption of local agricultural specialties."
