On the 20th, at the Lotte Hotel Crystal Ballroom in Seogwipo, Jeju Island, they discussed the approval of next year's business plan and budget proposal, as well as current issues related to golf course management. The association approved the 2025 budget at 4.7116 billion KRW, a 0.6% increase compared to the previous year. They also resolved key tasks for 2025, including strengthening support projects to revitalize member companies' sales, improving the property tax surcharge rate on membership golf courses, activities to abolish the individual consumption tax, improving various unreasonable regulations and laws, enhancing promotional activities to break down negative perceptions of golf, responding to climate change, and introducing new technologies to improve the high-cost structure of golf courses.


Chairman Park Chang-yeol stated, "In a difficult environment where the number of visitors is decreasing, regulations on golf courses are becoming stricter," and added, "We will do our best to overcome the crisis in the golf course industry and establish a stable management environment for member companies." A total of 198 companies attended the general meeting, including 51 companies delegated to the chairman out of the 211 registered member companies of the association.
