WeFlow Participates in Global Air Taxi Exhibition... First Public Reveal of IAI Platform

WeFlow, a specialized company in Advanced Air Mobility (AAM) solutions, announced on the 21st that it will participate in the '2024 AIRTAXI World Congress' held in London, UK.

The AIRTAXI World Congress is the world's largest air taxi exhibition, now in its fifth year. Each year, it attracts more than 500 global aviation industry experts. Last year, 250 companies from 70 countries participated. This exhibition will feature domestic and international companies including WeFlow, Korea Airports Corporation, Korean Air, Archer Aviation, and Skyports. WeFlow will operate a corporate promotion booth to pioneer the European and global markets.

At this exhibition, WeFlow will unveil for the first time its automated inspection solution using artificial intelligence (AI) technology, the 'IAI (Intelligent AAM Inspection) platform.' The IAI platform is an automated aircraft inspection solution applicable to vertiports (takeoff and landing pads) and hangars. Currently, WeFlow is participating in the Ministry of Land, Infrastructure and Transport's drone commercialization project, building drone ports across the country. Based on this, the company plans to expand its business area by developing air taxi inspection infrastructure.

At vertiports equipped with WeFlow's IAI platform, automated aircraft inspection services are provided, allowing non-contact inspection of more areas such as internal damage and battery status that cannot be confirmed by traditional visual inspections. It comprehensively assesses the structural stability of the aircraft, internal and external defects affecting balance, tire wear, and battery safety status, and also enables battery charging.

The IAI platform incorporates fusion sensors and AI technology developed in-house by WeFlow. Especially, the information collected from each item can be checked as quantitative data through a dashboard, enabling predictive maintenance of the aircraft by identifying parts aging and replacement cycles. Furthermore, it will be offered in a modular form that can be introduced in desired configurations to different zones of vertiports and hangars according to demand.

Meanwhile, at the exhibition, WeFlow will also showcase the 'Portable verti-Pit,' a handheld device for aircraft inspection, and 'verti-I,' which monitors aircraft status in real-time during operation, in addition to the IAI platform. The company plans to focus on demonstrating scenarios at the event where the IAI platform is applied to vertiports to swiftly and precisely conduct inspections of electric vertical takeoff and landing aircraft (eVTOL).

Kim Euijung, CEO of WeFlow, stated, "Through participation in this exhibition, we plan to explore cooperation plans for the IAI platform with AAM experts from various countries, including our entry into the European market."
