GH, Model of Family-Friendly Management... Certified as a Great Place to Work

Gyeonggi Housing and Urban Corporation (GH) obtained the ‘2024 Gyeonggi Family-Friendly Good Workplace (GGWP) Certification’ on the 20th.

GGWP is a project aimed at discovering companies that exemplarily operate family-friendly management to spread a family-friendly workplace culture within the province. It is organized by Gyeonggi Province and the Gyeonggi Economic Science Promotion Agency.

To overcome the low birthrate crisis and foster a family-friendly workplace culture, GH implements the ‘GH Lifecycle Customized System,’ which includes marriage life coaching for employees of marriageable age, expanded various leaves and flexible work arrangements to protect the health of pregnant employees, and childcare mentoring through internal and external experts.

Thanks to these systems, the annual number of births at GH increased by 35% to 23 as of October this year compared to 15 last year. Additionally, the childcare leave usage rate this year was about 36%, the highest ever. GH also produced its first promotion during childcare leave.

Kim Se-yong, President of GH, stated, "With this certification, GH’s efforts to create a family-friendly workplace culture have been widely recognized. We will take the lead in participating in overcoming the low birthrate crisis and creating a workplace where work and life are harmonized."
