Representative Lee Jae-myung Calls Party Officials Immediately After First Trial Verdict
‘Geumgwiwollae’ Public Welfare Activities Including Haenam Cabbage Event

Park Ji-won, a member of the Democratic Party of Korea representing Haenam, Wando, and Jindo in Jeonnam, announced on the 20th that he convened key party officials from the Haenam, Wando, and Jindo regional committees immediately after the first trial verdict of Representative Lee Jae-myung.

On the 15th, following the first trial verdict of Representative Lee Jae-myung, Park met with about 100 key party officials to discuss the regional committee's response measures.

At the meeting, Park said, "The Democratic Party united when former President Kim Dae-jung was in crisis, and it is a party with the strength to make Kim Dae-jung president together with the people," adding, "Our Democratic Party must unite and come together just like during Kim Dae-jung's time. The Haenam, Wando, and Jindo regional committees should intensify the signature campaign urging a special prosecutor for Kim Gun-hee."

Meanwhile, Park continued his 32nd Geumgwiwollae regional livelihood campaign. To gather farmers' opinions on stabilizing rice prices, he visited the Haenam public rice stockpiling purchase site. He also attended the opening ceremony of the new Wando Dadohae National Park Office building and the National Park Service-supported Wando 'Bokdakbokdak' tasting event at the National Park Corporation.

Additionally, to promote Haenam cabbage, which has begun shipping, he participated in the "Haenam Cabbage Kimchi Making Event" hosted by Haenam County. On the 17th, he visited a Haenam salted cabbage factory site, directly touring the process from cabbage production to distribution and gathering public opinion.

Furthermore, he has been engaging in communication with residents by participating in local events such as a meeting with the Jindo County Daycare Center Association and a small music concert filled with the scent of chrysanthemums.
