Korea Housing Finance Corporation "Supporting Youth Preparing for Independence"

Support for Busan Youth's Stable Independence through 'Georeum Donation' Housing Cost Assistance

Korea Housing Finance Corporation (HF, President Kim Kyunghwan) announced on the 20th that it donated 75 million KRW to the Busan Community Chest of Korea (Chairman Lee Sutae) to support the independence of youth preparing for self-reliance in the Busan area.

Youth preparing for self-reliance are young people who must live independently economically and socially after leaving child welfare facilities.

The ‘Happy Feet with HF’ step donation campaign, held by HF Corporation from October 17 to November 6, was open to all employees of the corporation and anyone wishing to help youth preparing for self-reliance become independent. The funds raised through this campaign will be used to support housing costs such as monthly rent and utility bills for youth preparing for self-reliance recommended by the Busan Child Protection Youth Self-Reliance Support Center (Director Shim Jooyoung).

Kim Kyunghwan, President of HF Corporation, expressed gratitude to everyone who shared the intention to support housing costs for the stable independence of youth preparing for self-reliance, saying, “The corporation will continue to pay attention so that young people in the local community can pursue their dreams in a more stable housing environment.”

Since 2021, HF Corporation has donated a total of 465 million KRW to the local community through the ‘Happy Feet with HF’ step donation campaign.
