‘Filial Piety Expressed Through Song’ ... Mapo-gu Hosts Heartfelt Mapo Hyo (孝) Concert

Park Gang-su, Mayor of Mapo District, visited the Mapo Art Center Art Hall Mac on the afternoon of the 19th, where the "Heartfelt Mapo Filial Piety Concert" was held.

Hosted by Mapo District and organized by the Mapo Welfare Foundation, with sponsorship from the Whirlwind Celebrity Soccer Team celebrating its 40th anniversary, the concert was attended by about 1,000 local senior citizens who enjoyed a variety of performances.

The concert began at 6 p.m. with MC Jo Young-gu hosting. In the first part of the event, Seo Yu-ho, Ssabi, Baek Hyung-san, Lee Byung-wook, Sumin Dance, Choi Baek-ho, Koo Chang-mo, and Hwang Young-ik delivered wonderful performances.

Following that, the second part of the event started at 7:40 p.m., featuring Yang Hye-seung, One Plus One, Park Jeong-sik, Jo Young-gu, Kim Chung-hoon, Min Hye-kyung, Kim Beom-ryong, and Park Hye-shin, providing the seniors with an unforgettable autumn evening.

Park Gang-su, Mayor of Mapo District, said, "We prepared the 'Heartfelt Mapo Filial Piety Concert' with the hope that the elderly can live healthier and happier lives," adding, "We will create a Mapo full of filial piety so that seniors can be respected and well cared for."

He continued, "I sincerely thank the Mapo Welfare Foundation and the Whirlwind Celebrity Soccer Team for preparing this precious event with a heart of filial piety."
