Suwon City Recruiting New Care Service Providers... 39 Locations in 7 Fields

The city of Suwon in Gyeonggi Province will recruit new service providers for the Suwon Saebit Care Service from the 26th of this month until the 2nd of next month.

The new service provision areas include ▲daily care ▲accompaniment care ▲residential safety ▲temporary protection ▲rehabilitation care ▲psychological counseling ▲temporary care for companion animals (dogs), and Suwon will select 39 institutions this time.

Suwon Saebit Care is a "Suwon-type integrated care project" where the village community takes the lead in identifying neighbors in need of care and providing them with essential care services.

Starting this month, Suwon is expanding the "Suwon Saebit Care Meal Delivery Service" to all neighborhoods (44 in total).

From next year, Suwon will change the project name to "Suwon Saebit Care (Anyone)" to expand service standards and add new services.

The cost support criteria for Suwon Saebit Care (Anyone) will be expanded from households with 75% or less of the median income to households with up to 120% of the median income, and the support amount will also increase from 1 million KRW per person per year to 1.5 million KRW. Additionally, new services such as rehabilitation care will be added.

A Suwon city official stated, "With the major lifestyle transformation in Suwon in 2025, we will broaden the criteria for Suwon Saebit Care and strengthen support," adding, "We will promote the project so that any citizen in need of care can receive support."
