Sangbong-dong Station Area Long-Term Jeonse Housing Project Passes Building Review
An apartment building with up to 41 floors will be constructed in the vicinity of Sangbong Station on Seoul Subway Line 7. A total of 223 households, including long-term lease housing, will be supplied.
On the 19th, the Seoul Metropolitan Government held the 18th Architecture Committee meeting and announced on the 20th that the 'Sangbong-dong Station Area Long-term Lease Housing Project' passed the architectural review.
With this approval, the area of Sangbong-dong 107-6 will be transformed into two buildings, ranging from 5 basement floors to a maximum of 41 floors above ground, comprising 223 apartment units. Of these, 178 units will be for sale, and 45 units will be public housing. The Architecture Committee planned horizontal and vertical circulation routes considering the convenience of long-term lease housing users in the station area, and encouraged maximizing ventilation corridors between buildings to enhance openness. Public contribution facilities linked to the living street are planned on the low-rise floors, specifically the 1st and 2nd floors above ground.
Han Byung-yong, Director of the Housing Office, stated, "We will continuously improve the residential environment by supplying high-quality housing that ensures not only urban aesthetics but also convenience and safety for users."
