Busan Port Authority Supports Winter Donation Items... Spreading Warmth in the Local Community

Busan Port Authority visited the Busan Jung-gu Volunteer Center on the 19th ahead of the year-end to deliver donations and donated goods to support vulnerable groups in the local community and carried out volunteer activities.

Busan Port Authority is delivering warm donation items in preparation for the winter season.

This social contribution activity was carried out jointly by the labor and management of Busan Port Authority and Busan Port Security Corporation to convey the interest and warmth of employees toward the local community. Employees who participated in the volunteer work personally packed daily necessities and visited each household to deliver them along with handwritten letters, sharing their warm hearts.

In addition, Busan Port Authority contributed 40 blankets to the Hope Pantry, which is operated together with the Jung-gu Volunteer Center, to help prepare for the cold winter.

BPA Operations Director Hong Seong-jun said, “We hope that through this social contribution activity, the interest and hearts of our employees for the local community will be well conveyed,” and added, “We will continue to practice steady volunteer activities to work together with the local community.”
