Opening of Dongducheon Youth Startup Support Center, Fostering Youth Startup Ecosystem

Dongducheon City in Gyeonggi Province announced on the 19th that the Dongducheon Youth Startup Support Center, which supports the growth of preliminary youth startup companies, will open on the 20th.

The Youth Startup Support Center is operated under consignment by Induk University and is equipped with a youth cafe, Tomorrow Square, offices, classrooms, meeting rooms, and lounges.


The main support services include ▲providing independent office and shared office spaces ▲supporting business commercialization funds of 3 million KRW for resident companies through screening ▲offering basic and advanced startup education ▲1:1 mentoring services ▲startup education, seminars, and workshops ▲prototype production and market development ▲providing desks, chairs, cabinets, and wired/wireless internet within office spaces.


Additionally, various economic, psychological, cultural, and communication programs will be operated for general youth to function as a complex youth hub space.


Mayor Park Hyeong-deok stated, “We will spare no support to ensure that the Dongducheon Youth Startup Support Center continuously discovers and nurtures youth startup companies and establishes itself as a regional youth hub space.”


Meanwhile, the Dongducheon Youth Startup Support Center is recruiting resident companies until the 26th, and applicants can apply via email or inquire by phone for guidance.
