Held Mid- to Long-Term Business Promotion Report Meeting for the Operations Team

Jindo-gun, Jeollanam-do explained the basic direction of the mid- to long-term investment plan for the Local Extinction Response Fund and held a mid- to long-term project promotion briefing session for internal working teams of each department to prepare for the evaluation of the 2026 fund investment plan.

According to the county on the 19th, the briefing session set the basic concept of the Local Extinction Response Fund investment plan and mid- to long-term strategic goals, and based on this, proposed policy tasks and detailed projects tailored to local conditions.

Park Yunsu, Director of Population Policy Office, and team leaders in charge of project departments attended to discuss the establishment of customized policies in various fields such as culture, tourism, welfare, medical care, and education, and held various discussions on key project areas based on the population status of Jindo-gun.

A Jindo-gun official said, “We recognize the seriousness of the local extinction crisis and must concentrate administrative power and make every effort to overcome the crisis,” adding, “We will do our best to make Jindo-gun vibrant through the opinions proposed at today’s briefing session and the discovery of fund projects by the relevant departments in the future.”
