Providing Opportunities for Enhancing Professional Competence and Knowledge Exchange for Childcare Teachers
Nexon announced on the 19th that its in-house daycare center, 'Dotori Sopung Nexon Daycare,' has signed an industry-academic cooperation agreement (MOU) with Seoul Women's University.
Through this agreement, the two institutions will mutually cooperate in areas such as early childhood education and academic research exchange, teacher training, and staff education.
Dotori Sopung plans to apply domestic and international early childhood education theories and the latest play methods to daycare operations by conducting academic exchanges and collaboration among staff.
Additionally, it will expand the scope of early childhood education research and development and support career-linked activities for undergraduate students majoring in Child Studies at Seoul Women's University to nurture future childcare teachers.
Park Jin-young, director of Dotori Sopung Nexon Daycare, expressed expectations that "this will be an opportunity to strengthen the professional capabilities of childcare teachers and to exchange and practice new knowledge needed in childcare settings."
Dotori Sopung is an in-house daycare center jointly caring for about 400 children of Nexon Group employees, operating six centers in locations including Pangyo, Gangnam, and Jeju. Nexon has a dedicated daycare operations department and is conducting various educational programs to support the healthy physical and emotional development of employees' children.
