TIPA Successfully Hosts 'Technology Exchange Meeting' for Army, Air Force, and SMEs Cooperation

SMEs-Army and Air Force Demand Technology Seminar, Technology Matching, and Networking: A Platform for Cooperation

The Small and Medium Business Technology Information Promotion Agency (TIPA) announced on the 19th that the 'Civil-Military Cooperation R&D Technology Exchange Meeting' held at the AI Hub in Seoul on the 15th was successfully concluded.

TIPA organized this event with the purpose of promoting the entry of small and medium enterprises into the defense sector and the application of new civilian technologies to the military. The event included demand technology seminars and technology matching consultations to strengthen civil-military cooperation and mutual understanding.


About 300 participants, including the Army (Headquarters, Education Command, Logistics Command, etc.), the Air Force (Headquarters, Logistics Command, etc.), and over 150 small and medium enterprises, attended, reaffirming the rapidly increasing status of K-Defense and interest in civil-military cooperation.


A TIPA official explained, "We conducted one-on-one matching consultations between 172 small and medium enterprises and the Army and Air Force, and through 21 technology demand seminars from the Army and Air Force, we established the direction for civil-military technology cooperation and achieved results in broadening mutual understanding of demand and supply technologies."
