Samsung Paris Olympic Documentary Trilogy Wins Bronze at Clio Sports Awards

Samsung Electronics' 2024 Paris Olympic and Paralympic campaign documentary trilogy, "Open always wins," won the Bronze Award in the Film category at the 2024 Clio Sports Awards.

The documentary trilogy introduced the unique culture and values of the three official 2024 Paris Olympic sports: ▲Skateboarding ▲Breaking ▲Surfing. It was produced in collaboration with the global representative leagues of these three sports, centered on the 2024 Paris Olympic message of Openness.


The trilogy, which captures the journey of these sports being adopted as official Olympic events, is available to watch on Samsung Electronics' YouTube channel.


Additionally, Samsung Electronics' UK and India branches also earned honors in different categories for their sports campaigns.


Samsung Electronics UK’s "Samsung Flip Park" campaign, which showcased an immersive skateboarding experience using the Galaxy Z Flip5, won the Silver Award in the Digital & Mobile category at the 2024 Clio Sports Awards.


Furthermore, the campaign produced with Indian sports hero Neeraj Chopra by Samsung Electronics India received Bronze Awards in both the Production and Editing categories.


The Clio Sports Awards, established in 2014 as a specialized international advertising competition by the Clio Awards?one of the world's top three advertising awards?recognizes global campaigns that inspire through creative ideas.


Choi Seung-eun, Vice President and Head of Marketing Team at Samsung Electronics MX Division, stated, "We will continue to present various marketing activities that communicate with people worldwide based on openness."
