Six Top Domestic Bartenders Participate... Audience Votes On-site
Ayung FBC announced on the 19th that it will hold the 'Cocktail War: Bartender Competition' on the 29th, where award-winning bartenders from home and abroad will gather in one place to determine the top bartender.
Held at SAB Seoul, 'Cocktail War' was planned to bring together six professional bartenders recognized for their skills in the bartender industry to showcase a diverse harmony of cocktails and food, aiming to popularize bar culture. Two teams will compete with cocktails reflecting different personalities to determine the final winner.
Team A consists of Kim Harim (Alice Cheongdam), Choi Wonwoo (Tansan Bar), and Jo Youngjun (Villa Record), who have won various bartender competitions. Team A bartenders have a history of winning competitions such as World Class, Naked Malt, and Campari, and are expected to demonstrate high-level skills and unique cocktails. Team B is composed of Hong Jimin, Kim Hyungcheol (Knots), and Lee Jaewoong (Le Chamber), young and promising bartenders who are currently standing out in the bartender industry. These newcomers, known for their original sensibility and creative style, will offer the audience a new experience with their own cocktail recipes.
This competition is attracting attention as the audience on-site will directly participate in voting to decide the final winner. It breaks away from the conventional guest bartending format, allowing the audience to become judges on the day of the event. The organizers expect that the winner will be decided based on the audience's evaluation and preference, providing an opportunity to experience a new form of bartending culture. The event will be held from 10 PM to 2 AM the next day, and tickets can be purchased on Catch Table.
